Residents of Kelowna are invited to an interactive workshop where attendees will get hands-on experience on how to improve their home’s comfort, energy efficiency, and climate resilience. This workshop is brought to you by the Home Energy Navigator program, a free program offered to residents by the City of Kelowna. Workshop Summary
The workshop will include a presentation, Q&A period, and hands-on interactive displays to learn about the following:
- How retrofits can help make your home more resilient and comfortable
- Building envelope guidance (windows, doors, air sealing, and insulation)
- Heating system guidance (heating and cooling for your home)
- What rebates and incentives are available
- Benefits and services of the Home Energy Navigator Program
- Where to register for the Program
Participants will come away with a better understanding of:
- The benefits of the Home Energy Navigator Program
- First steps in completing a retrofit and where to go for additional support
- Guidance on how retrofits can benefit their home
Each workshop will also include a home efficiency gift basket raffle for the attendees!
