Kelowna Workshop – Home Energy Navigator
Residents of Kelowna are invited to an interactive workshop where attendees will get hands-on experience on how to improve their home’s comfort, energy efficiency, and climate resilience. This workshop is brought to you by the Home Energy Navigator program, a free program offered to residents by the City of Kelowna. Come get your questions answered and learn how your Energy Concierge can help you plan and carry out your home’s best retrofits! Details and registration link below.
Workshop Summary
The workshop will include a presentation, Q&A period, and hands-on interactive displays to learn about the following:
- How retrofits can help make your home more resilient and comfortable
- Building envelope guidance (windows, doors, air sealing, and insulation)
- Heating system guidance (heating and cooling for your home)
- What rebates and incentives are available
- Benefits and services of the Home Energy Navigator Program
- Where to register for the Program
Participants will come away with a better understanding of:
- The benefits of the Home Energy Navigator Program
- First steps in completing a retrofit and where to go for additional support
- Guidance on how retrofits can benefit their home
Each workshop will also include a home efficiency gift basket raffle for the attendees!
