How it works
Connect with an Energy Concierge
Make sure you’ve registered for the program and have connected with an Energy Concierge. This offer is available to participants within the City of Vancouver and is a limited time offer available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Collect key information
You will need to have a few pieces of information before you begin:
- a clear, legible photo of your electrical panel and any sub-panels (example 1 and example 2)
- your electrical consumption data for the past year from your My Hydro account (this guide details how to obtain the data)
- the size of your electrical panel in Amps

Energy Concierge will follow up
Once your form is submitted, we’ll prepare your Electrical Panel Retrofit Guide and contact you with any additional questions or clarifications.

The Electrical Panel Retrofit Guide is a useful tool in planning how to approach electrification in your home, avoid costly electrical panel upgrades, and provide information you can take to an electrician to help make sure you’re asking the right questions.
Before You Begin
To provide you with the Electrical Panel Upgrade Guide, we need to collect information regarding your home’s current electrical service.
You will need to have a few pieces of information before you begin:
- a clear, legible photo of your electrical panel and any sub-panels (example 1 and example 2)
- your electrical consumption data for the past year from your My Hydro account (this guide details how to obtain the data)
- the size of your electrical panel in Amps
You will be required to upload these pictures and the electrical consumption data in the form below. Alternatively, you can choose to submit the information via email to info@homeenergynav.ca as an attachment – make sure you note your name and address if you choose this method.
